WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT
Children’s Day is a Latin American tradition that celebrates the hopes we have for our children and the important role they play in shaping our future.
More than 5,000 children and their families attend the Chicago Dia de los Niños Parade each year. The parade strives to raise awareness about the importance of education for children. This year’s parade focuses on Healthy Lifestyles for Children.
Watch students from over 60 schools march, dance and sing in the parade. Then, join us for the Fiesta in Harrison Park where families can learn about healthy eating, visit exercise stations, learn about bicycle safety and watch dazzling entertainers. The parade will also recognize outstanding students with scholarships and awards
